Sandy Shaw, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in the assessment of young children under the age of 5. She has expertise in behavioral health treatment for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related developmental disabilities, and has more than six years of experience conducting psychological assessments in both English and Mandarin, Chinese. Additionally, Dr. Shaw is a Board-Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA). She has supervised psychological assistants, psychology interns, and BCBA candidates; sat on the board of Autism Society of America (San Diego Chapter); and provided behavioral health treatment for over 30 years for individuals with ASD and related developmental disabilities.

Dr. Shaw received her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology in San Diego, CA. She completed internships at Scripps Clinic Behavioral Health Services and the Escondido Youth Encounter Counseling and Crisis Center, as well as a psychological assistantship with Dr. Mark Allen, Ph.D., in San Diego, CA. Her postdoctoral training was conducted at the Center for Autism Research Evaluation and Service (CARES) with Dr. Alan Lincoln, Ph.D.

Outside of work, Dr. Shaw enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and is training her dog to become an emotional support dog.
