Fabiola Martínez Pesante, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist licensed by the California Board of Psychology and specializes in neurodevelopmental assessment for toddlers and preschool-aged children. She has developed her expertise across diverse clinical settings in Puerto Rico and the United States, focusing on early childhood neurodevelopment and autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
Dr. Martínez Pesante has built her experience in neurodevelopmental assessment through an APA-accredited internship and two postdoctoral fellowships. Her internship at Burrell Behavioral Health in Missouri, as part of the National Psychology Training Consortium, focused on autism assessment in a rural community. She then completed a postdoctoral fellowship at ADAPT Psychological Services in Chicago, conducting neurodevelopmental evaluations for children and adolescents. Her second postdoctoral fellowship at Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego, CA involved evaluating children ages 0–5 years and 11 months, including specialized assessment of infants. She is passionate about supporting children and families through evidence-based, individualized assessment.
Outside of work, Dr. Martínez Pesante enjoys exploring California and traveling whenever possible. She loves nature, coffee shops, photography, journaling, hiking, and spending time with animals and loved ones.
