She is known for her work conducting bilingual/multicultural assessments, and has more than 23 years of experience conducting assessments for developmental disabilities in both English and Spanish. Additionally, Dr. Martinez has 17 years of experience in the field of school psychology/special education.

Dr. Martinez received her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from The University of Texas in Austin, TX, and completed an internship at the Dallas Independent School District, Psychological Services, followed by postdoctoral training at Dallas ISD, Individual Evaluations.

In her free time, Dr. Martinez enjoys learning about other cultures through reading, dining and traveling.
