Uri Kugel, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in the assessment of Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disorders in children over the age of 5 and adults. He is known for his work with individuals with autism and trauma-focused disorders, and has more than 10 years of experience conducting assessments for developmental disabilities in both English and Hebrew.
Dr. Kugel received his doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Palo Alto University in Palo Alto, CA, and completed an internship at Sharp Mesa Vista Psychiatric Hospital in San Diego, CA, followed by postdoctoral training at San Diego Center for Children.
Outside of work at MindWise, Dr. Kugel is interested in the combination of spirituality and trauma-focused psychotherapy, writing, playing musical instruments and spending time in nature.
