Susan M. Gehrig, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in the assessment of neurodevelopmental delays in individuals of all ages. She is known for her work conducting bilingual assessments with neurodivergent children and adolescents, and has more than 13 years of experience conducting assessments for developmental disabilities in both English and Spanish. Additionally, Dr. Gehrig provides psychological consultations for behavioral analysts, has completed a neuropsychological testing certificate, and has trained in empirically supported mindfulness based therapy interventions.
Dr. Gehrig received her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Palo Alto University in Palo Alto, CA, and completed an APA-accredited internship at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital – Oakland in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics, followed by postdoctoral training at the Autism Spectrum Disorder Center at Kaiser Permanente in San Jose, CA.
In her spare time, Dr. Gehrig enjoys spending time with her husband and two children exploring San Diego’s beautiful outdoors and great community events.
