Biography

Steven Arias, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in the assessment of neurodevelopmental disorders in children and adults. He is known for his work with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), learning disorders, and cognitive disorders. He has more than 14 years of experience conducting assessments for developmental disabilities in both English and Spanish. Additionally, Dr. Arias has also supervised other psychologists and trainees, co-authored several research articles in high-impact journals, conducted research and analysis in many studies related to ASD and development in children, and trained undergraduate and graduate students in assessment.

Dr. Arias received his doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Biola University in La Mirada, CA, and completed an internship at Child and Family Guidance Center in Northridge, CA, followed by postdoctoral training at Newport Behavioral Health in Newport Beach, CA.

Outside of work, Dr. Arias enjoys reading, running ultramarathons, playing/performing/recording guitar, traveling abroad, hiking and snorkeling.
