Biography

Michaela Ene, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in the assessment of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and related developmental disorders in children and adolescents up to 18 years of age. Her clinical expertise includes psychological assessment and differential diagnostic evaluations, as well as individual and family counseling/parenting issues. She has more than 25 years of experience conducting assessments for developmental disabilities. Additionally, Dr. Ene was an adjunct professor at Alliant International University where she taught graduate courses in intellectual and psychological assessment. She also had the opportunity to work as a mental health professional embedded into a pediatric primary care setting alongside physicians to improve pediatric mental health care.

Dr. Ene received her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University in San Diego, CA, and completed predoctoral internships at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center, Rady Children’s Hospital, and San Diego Center for Children, and postdoctoral training at Center for Autism Research Evaluation and Services (CARES).

When not working, Dr. Ene enjoys family life and traveling with her husband and their two young adult children.
