Biography

Dr. Caroline Huarte, Ph.D., BCBA-D, FNTP, CIMHP, is a licensed psychologist and board-certified behavior analyst. With more than 25 years of experience in developmental psychology, the assessment and behavioral treatment of autism spectrum disorders, and integrative mental health, Dr. Huarte has held leadership, clinical, and academic roles throughout California and beyond. She currently provides diagnostic evaluations for children ages 3-5 at MindWise Psychological Services, focusing on the assessment of intellectual developmental disorder and autism spectrum disorder.

In addition to her work at MindWise, Dr. Huarte’s clinical interests include integrating psychology, behavior change, nutrition, and functional medicine to support lasting mental and physical well-being. She is also a member of the San Diego Psychological Association and serves on the grant review team for the National Foundation for Autism Research (NFAR).

Outside of work, Dr. Huarte is a wife and a mom to two young children. She enjoys hitting the gym, yoga classes, hiking, reading, playing guitar, attending live music concerts, and cooking up healthy dishes or treats for anyone who will eat them.
