Brooke Curtis, Psy.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in the assessment of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and other developmental and learning disorders for adolescents and adults. She is known for her diagnostic expertise in adolescents and older individuals, where she has more than 15 years of experience. Additionally, Dr. Curtis supervises postdoctoral interns for school districts and has been involved in ongoing research at UC San Diego as a developmental neuropsychologist, studying the effects of Suramin in autism symptoms in children. (The Phase I/II study was published in July 2017).
Dr. Curtis received her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University in San Diego, CA, and completed internships at the Center for Autism Research Evaluation and Service (CARES), Neighborhood Healthcare, and Rady Children’s Hospital Outpatient Psychiatry in San Diego and Escondido, CA. Her postdoctoral training was conducted at CARES and Mental Health Systems.
Outside of work, Dr. Curtis enjoys reading, gardening, swimming, and taking trips to Disneyland with her husband and two children.
