Vivien Keil, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist with expertise in developmental, psychoeducational, and neuropsychological evaluations of children and adolescents. She has more than 20 years of experience working with kids, teens, and families. She has specialized in pediatric assessments since graduate school since she loves the focus on better understanding the whole child. She also loves working closely with parents so that they feel empowered to advocate for their child’s individual needs.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Keil is passionate about working with non-profit organizations that are making a difference in the world. Currently these include Children’s Health Council in the Bay Area and Understood in New York. She appreciates working in and helping to contribute to collaborative teams, which has led her to a range of clinical leadership roles in the last 10 years of her career, including Clinical Director at Children’s Health Council, Director of Clinical Quality at Marker Learning, and Vice President of Care Operations at BeMe Health. In all of her roles, her North Star has always been on helping to create more effective systems of care for young people and their families.
When she is not working, Dr. Keil is running around San Diego trying to stay on top of her various mom responsibilities. Finding local bakeries and coffee shops to fuel her makes her happy and so does going to Disneyland during the holiday season.
