Biography

Kenia Myers is an Administrative Assistant at MindWise Psychological Services. She is responsible for providing support for our clinical psychologists, including gathering client records prior to their appointments, maintaining electronic client databases, routing phone calls and emails, and ensuring that our psychologists have all the specialized testing materials they need to conduct psychological evaluations at testing centers throughout San Diego and Imperial Counties.

Prior to joining MindWise, Ms. Myers worked as a Success Coach, providing life coaching and mentorship to local youth with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and other neurodevelopmental conditions going through major life transitions related to family, school, and work. She led group workshops and individualized coaching sessions aimed at developing leadership and personal growth skills. Ms. Myers holds a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and a master’s degree in Animal Science, both from Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo Leon in Mexico. She worked for several years as a veterinarian, mostly with large animals, in the U.S. and Mexico before her transition to working with youth.

Outside of work, Ms. Myers loves spending time outdoors with her family, including fishing, camping, and hiking. She also enjoys baking and is an avid banjo player.
