Colby Carter, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in the assessment of neurodevelopmental disorders in people over the age of five. He is known for his work with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, intellectual development, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder and learning disorders, and he has more than 15 years of experience conducting assessments for developmental disabilities and 20 years working with individuals with autism.
Dr. Carter received his doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Idaho State University in Pocatello, ID, and completed an internship at the Southeastern Idaho Predoctoral Consortium in Psychology, followed by postdoctoral training at Atlanta Psychological Services in Atlanta, GA. Additionally, Dr. Carter has a Master’s degree in Experimental Psychology from California State University, San Marcos. During his time in clinical research, he helped to develop computerized assessment measures.
Outside of work, Dr. Carter enjoys spending his time at the beach surfing, or hiking and exploring the mountains of the Eastern Sierras.
