Teagan Twombly, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist with expertise in trauma-informed assessment, early prevention and intervention, and collaborative care for neurodivergent children and their families. Her clinical work emphasizes strengths-based, culturally responsive assessment practices focused on clarifying behavioral and neurodevelopmental concerns. She has experience serving children and adolescents ages 3 to 18 across school and community mental health settings.
Dr. Twombly earned her doctoral degree in school psychology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, with a specialization in prevention and intervention sciences and a focus on trauma-informed school mental health. She has provided therapeutic services, group therapy, and systems-level consultation on school mental health practices. Dr. Twombly completed her predoctoral internship within The Help Group’s REACH program, a trauma-informed after-school setting providing milieu support for youth with emotional and behavioral concerns. She completed her postdoctoral training at the San Diego Center for Children. Dr. Twombly is deeply committed to partnering with culturally and linguistically diverse families to strengthen advocacy and improve access across systems of care.
Outside of her clinical work, Dr. Twombly enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active through running, biking, skiing, and hiking, and exploring new places through travel.
